Collaboration Core

ABOUT THE COLLABORATION CORE

The Collaboration Core is an administrative unit within the UW College of Engineering dedicated to supporting interdisciplinary institutes, centers, and facilities. Designed for flexibility, it adapts to emerging opportunities and evolving needs while delivering exceptional operational support to multiple research units.

Supported by the College of Engineering and its participating units, the Collaboration Core centralizes operations, coordinates staffing, and provides specialized expertise in research administration, education, communications, and event management. It also serves as a resource for units across the college and beyond, offering guidance on managing collaborative research and educational efforts.

The Collaboration Core is also available to advise or assist with complex proposals, including large-scale and center-level funding opportunities.

For more information on available resources and opportunities, contact Amanda McCracken-Roberts, Director of Interdisciplinary Administrative Operations.

Within the Molecular Engineering & Sciences (MolES) and Nanoengineering & Sciences (NanoES) buildings, the Collaboration Core manages a variety of meeting and work spaces that are available to all UW faculty, students, and staff. MolES and NanoES occupants have priority for reservations.
